# HKTRPG Official User Guide

### **Welcome to HKTRPG!**

HKTRPG is an online toolkit for TRPG. It lets you roll dice across platforms (website, Discord, LINE, Telegram, Plurk, WhatsApp). Beyond TRPG, it also works for everyday fun and group management.

#### Why use it

As a GM, building a group, keeping the vibe lively, teaching players how to make characters and roll dice, then running sessions and sharing info with players is hard work.

With HKTRPG, you use the same commands across platforms—no switching overhead—plus built-in entertainment features.

It is designed to cut your workload!

### 5-minute quick start

1. **Invite** HKTRPG → [Invite HKTRPG](/guide/en/getting-started/yao-qing-hktrpg.md)
2. (Optional) Switch reply language: `.lang en` / `.lang zh-tw` / `.lang zh-hans` (see [Language Settings](/guide/en/getting-started/yu-yan-she-ding-duo-yu-xi.md))
3. Type `1d100` to try a basic roll
4. Type `bothelp` for command categories (or see the [Command cheat sheet](/guide/en/getting-started/zhi-ling-su-cha-biao.md))
5. Create a [character sheet](/guide/en/trpg-features/kai-shi-jin-hang-trpg/jiao-se-ka.md): `.char add …` / `.char use name`
6. Hide results with [secret rolls](/guide/en/trpg-features/kai-shi-jin-hang-trpg/an-tou.md): `dr` / `ddr` / `dddr`
