通常來說，聊天軟件的機械人都有兩種模式，一是直接和機械人聊天，一是把機械人邀請到私人的群組之中。

而對於HKTRPG來說，你可以在兩種模式中使用大部份功能，只是某些功能只可以在群組中使用。

只限在群組使用的功能如暗骰功能，自定骰子功能，資料庫功能。\
亦有Discord限定功能，如角色扮演功能，聊天紀錄匯出功能。\\

在Discord -> Home -> Find or start a conversation 中輸入ID就可以使用HKTRPG了\
不過邀請到群組的話還是需要使用下面的連結\

建議使用手機開啓，進入網址後，中間的Chat按鈕可以和HKTRPG對話。\
也可以按+朋友。\
接著在群組中就可以像一般朋友那樣邀請他加入，但要注意LINE限定一個群組只可以加入一個機械人。<br>
